The Costs of Conservatism

Fiscal Conservatives are agitating to permanently extend the Bush tax cuts.

To do so will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 trillion dollars over ten years.

That is $1.3 billion a day. Every day. For ten years.

Neoconservatives took us to war in Iraq.

Combat operations in Iraq cost us at least $3 trillion dollars over five years.

That’s $1.6 billion a day. Every day. For five years.

I’m not sure we can afford more Conservative policies from our government. As a bonus.

Republicans want to prevent a permanent tax cut for 294,000,000 Americans, in order to preserve one for 6,000,000 Americans.

And Democrats are the ones accused of being elitist.

I was never a fan of Bush’s papa or baby or the Iraq war, which I personally believe was revenge for his dad. But that is just my theory.

And to counter the tax cuts slash the government especially defense and get out of Afghanistan, we cannot win there anyway. Obama has got himself between a rock and a hard place there. And his hands are tied to do a surge that might possibly do some good, but i doubt it. The Russians tried and could not do it.  There are other ways to keep a lid on that country. Also get rid of that extremely expensive new health care that does not help the people that need it most, and businesses are already taking people off their health care programs, because they can’t afford it.

How much has Obama thrown away in federal dollars since he has been in office?????
